 Why invest in Morocco?

 

 

   

       1. To invest in Morocco: A sure and guaranteed investment

♦ There exist three fundamental freedoms:

 

               - right to invest

 

               - right to transfer the benefit

 

               - right to transfer the products from transfer under certain conditions.

 

The investors do not have to obtain preliminary approval.

 

♦ a Charter of the Investment adopted in 1995 allows to the foreign investors multiple exemptions:

              

               - Mode of convertibility for the overseas investments realized in Morocco

               in currencies.

               51 bilateral agreements concluded.

2. A very gravitational taxation:

 

               Morocco proposes very advantageous tax provisions for French, grace in particular to a tax convention between the two countries which exclude double taxation:

 

                          - For the people with the retirement

 

If a pensioner French, resident tax to Morocco, transfers in his host country the unit from his retirement pensions, it profits from an abatement of 80% on the Moroccan income tax, which, combined to other provision tax, leads toa tax rate on the rough annual income of 4%.

 

                          - Exemption of appreciations

 

Morocco envisages a complete exoneration of the appreciation of a housing occupied as main home during at least 8 years, whatever the delivery price. When the transfer is not exonerated, the appreciations are taxed at 20%.

 

                          - Income locatives

 

For the new housings or increased intended for the hiring, there exists an exemption during 3 years (according to the routing of work for new constructions or the additions of constructions) of the general tax on the income under the land incomes.
